Mission Statement
Offshore Outsourcing Best Practices association (OOBP.org) is an association that aims to increase the effectiveness of the software outsourcing industry within the segment of small and medium enterprises (SME) by sharing best practices and facilitating knowledge exchange. OOBP.org provides thought leadership through the network of certified professionals and relevant industry organizations, publications and research initiatives.
General Policies
- Membership into OOBP.org is by invitation only
- There is to be no SPAM within OOBP.org
- Buyer side only may participate in OOBP.org
- All members must pay a nominal fee
- All members are expected to actively contribute to forum issues
Member Benefits
- Save money by avoiding consulting fees regarding outsourcing
- Opportunity to network among members for a stronger knowledge base concerning offshore outsourcing policies and procedures
- Company exposure through case study contributions
- Access to unique services concerning offshore outsourcing such as insurance information as well as vendor ratings

OOBP.org respects your privacy and agrees to hold all information from our members in strict confidence. Personal information will not be used for our benefit or the benefit of others except to achieve the Mission Statement or as otherwise authorized by our members. Personal information will not be distributed to third parties unless they are representatives or employees from a respective membership company who specifically require information for their work and have been informed of the recipient party's obligations under this Agreement.
- Use of Personal Information
"Personal information" is all nonpublic or proprietary information that includes, but is not limited to, email addresses, business practices, cost and expense information, and local addresses.
OOBP.org will only use your personal information in the following ways:
- To register your company for our forum
- To perform normal business operations such as collection and accounting
- To serve members who have questions or complaints

This site has security measure to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of any information under our control
Private Policy Updates
OOBP.org may update this Private Policy from time to time. Please check periodically for any changes. We will also notify you if we make any significant changes in the way that your information will be used.

OOBP places all vendor links on http://www.oobp.org/Web+Resources/Outsourcing/default.aspx.
OOBP reserves the right to discontinue a link at any time.
Content and communities
Any and all Web-resources and web-based Communities dedicated to the specific issues of Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) are considered potential OOBP partners. As we continue to grow, we look forward to establishing further partner relationships.
To receive a logo link on OOBP.org, a partner agrees to reciprocate by placing a link with a logo on his home page pointing to OOBP.org home page.
OOBP places all partner logos on its home page.
